{Purrrrfect Pout}

Hellooo tharrr! Today I went to the mall and grabbed the October Issue of NYLON yeah I know, kinda late. shut up. And went over to the Yoghurt Bar to get myself my weekly dose of frozen yoghurt and rest. (I was wearing wedges and, despite them being the worst best thing thats ever happened to my legs, the sole is incredibly hard, almost as if theres no cushioning) Anyhoo, while I quickly devoured my medium-sized frozen yoghurt, I flipped through the pages of NYLON and saw THE CUTEST lipstick I've ever seen, like, ever.

Feast your eyes upon Paul & Joe's new limited edition masterpiece, Paul & Joe Lipstick C in Moon Shadow
Paul & Joe Lipstick C in Moon Shadow
HOW COULD YOU RESIST?! Even if you're more of a pooch girl like moi (and also the fact that felines just scare the crap outta me), you just cannot turn away from this! I read some reviews on this, and from the swatches I can tell this is a really sheer lipstick which is just PERFECT. Err, purrfect? ;)

{Blurt: Color Me RETRO}

HEEEYYY!! It's been sooo long (I know right?!) and I've been reaaall busy with my school's event, HighScope Model United Nations and all so I come home really tired and usually just doze off and at some days I even forget to do my homework. So three cheers for wednesdays and fridays! (I usually go to school on wednesdays at 9 or so, and don't really do anything, SO HOORRRAAYYYYY instaholiday B) )

A few days ago, I stumbled upon a sorta Photography and Crafts-related blog by Katrina called Pugly Pixel. Her photos are AMAZING and she's so good at making crafts and stuff! SHE MAKES COURIER NEW LOOK AWESOME!! well I do too right? pfft. my blog font is courier! She also has really useful tutorials and stock images available for people who are interested in photography, design, and crafts (LIKE MEEE)

SOOO I went through A LOT of her blog posts and she got me interested in Vintage/Retro Photography and Design agaaiinn :3 She had this post about iPhone apps used for lomography-kind photography oorr image processing and I found one about Hipstamatic which is this AMAZING app which lets you take pictures with various lenses and effects. Too bad I don't have an iPhone or the new iPod Touch 4th Gen... :( Problem is, you cant load images from your library, you have to take it directly from your camera. GAAHHH!!

Buuuttt, I found other apps too such as SwankoLab (from the makers of Hipstamatic), a darkroom app, Infinicam, an endless photo processing app (I say endless because instead of pre-made filters, there are actually codes available for other new filters), and Phototreats, which is like the easiest app around to process photos (not to mention the filters are also amazing! and cute names too). So I got those three apps and I'd say I LOVE ALL THREE! I can't wait to actually try them on my own pictures :3 I'll probably post it on a new post later once i find a good picture of myself worth editing -__- CHECK THOSE APPS OUT!! They're only $1.99 and they do wonders to your pictures!

{Inspiration: 80s Purple}

Okaaayy so maybe some of you have heard about 80s Purple? Yeah, it's a shop that sells REALLY cool brands like WILDFOX COUTURE (my ultimate fave♥), Insight, Cheap Monday, Dolce Vita, Hysteric Glamour, Junk Food, Tarina Tarantino, and soo much more! They have like these pictorials and videos that show their collections. I never really buy online, and most of the stuff there are also WAY beyond my price range, so I like to look at the lookbooks and videos they make. It. Is. So. Cool. Lemme tell you, it's sooo worth seeing! You can see their lookbooks in their site here and in the "Pictorial" tab. Eye candy

Here are the videos that I love from their vimeo (something like youtube, only WAY better!):

{SHOES, SHOES, SHOES♥}

WARNING: BLURT POST

OMG my insomnia attack is back and I can't close my eyes :( I guess it's all that sugar... Anyways, I've been DYING to get new heels for fall. Thing is, I'm saving up for my December trip to Australia (YAY HAHA!) so I can't get anything yet... Last time when I was in Singapore, I went to Far East Plaza and got two SUPER CHEAP wedges that looked AMAZING!! Since then, I've been dying to get heels! I'm not really supposed to wear heels that often because I have like this knee condition where one of my ligament is like torn or something, so I only have 1 ligament left that works. Should that 1 ligament tear too, I won't be able to walk DX So, yeah. HUGE risk... My doctor says that it's fine to use wedges though, so that'll be what I'll be going for ;) Luckily, wedges are HUGE this season!! ...and last season too. SO, it's a great investment I think.

I've been browsing through lookbook and I've been seeing these Jeffrey Campbell wedges that are LOVE! Love, love, love. PURE love. Also, I went out to the mall with my mom and saw these uber cute heels at Aldo (Yes, the one with Jessica Stam on the ads XD love her♥).
The one I want: Sangrey High Heels in Black Suede
...but details are more visible on the grey sample

When I first tried it on, I could walk easily! (doesn't happen too often with heels that are pretty tall...) These are 2.5" + a platform sooo yeah, acceptable height I guess. It was like on the ground along with some other (SUPER CUTE) shoes. It was still sale season and some stuff are also still on sale so I thought they were too! Then I asked the clerk how much it costs. At first he said it was Rp. 170.000. Well, at least thats what I heard. I was like WTF OMG HAVE to get it! I was almost ready to pull out my card but then I remembered my knee condition. I asked my mom if I could get it and went back to Aldo with her. For the first time my mom thought something I chose was cute! (Our style differs greatly, I guess) So I became super exited to get it! Then, I asked the clerk again how much it was, just to make sure. Guess what she said. Rp. 1.170.000. Yep. I heard wrong the first time. When my mom knew this, NO WAY is she gonna get this for me -__- This is like WAY beyond my price range. So broken-hearted me went home, with nothing in my hands. Not one shopping bag I had initially wanted to carry... WHYY??!! WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?!

Okay enough drama. Every story needs a happy ending right? Well, technically its not really an ending, but hey, you get my shiz. Anyways, I found a lookalike of the Aldo shoe BUT they're wedges :D So it's like the love child of Aldo and Jeffrey Campbell! Niiceee~ I already ordered a pair for myself and will probably be getting them next week. Can't wait!!!

Hahaa. aha. ha. hmmm... zzzz

{Fashion Week SS'11 Favorites: Anna Sui}

Celebrating her label's 10th Anniversary, Anna Sui is back with her signature dreamy, youthful and eathy vintage-inspired pieces. Print ponchos and patchwork print dresses, countless prairie-chic plaids, paisley prints, ruffles and lace confections are huge in this collection. I've always personally loved her collections. The sort of bohemian details, sweetness, and femininity that she exudes through her pieces NEVER fail to get me hooked! Even the models smiled in the runway!! I just love fashion shows that aren't all straight-faced-models-with-very-serious-guests. I think a smile makes everyone look even more pretty :) HAHA okay anyway, back on track, the collection also got really good reviews! AND WOAH!! Frida Gustavsson is the First Face!! LOVE♥

“What is always in the back of my mind when I design anything is, ‘Is it nostalgic but trendy, rock’n’roll but feminine, good girl and bad girl?’” -Anna Sui

I'm sure you're all psyched to see the preview video right? just be honest with me already. pfft. i know everything. Soooo here it is!! From NylonTV:

And I absolutely agree to NylonTV's comment on the show: AMAZING HAIR!! YES YES YES!!! Loovee the hair! Mmmhm! Light, bouncy, shiny and wavy~

Don't believe me? Here are some eyecandy to prove how pretty they are ;)

LOVE!! OMG SOMEONE TELL ME WHO THIS IS DX
Lovin' the headpiece on her♥
You know what to do...

{Fashion Week SS'11 Favorites: Dolce & Gabbana}

Ookay so as you can see I changed the title to just Fashion Week because I got mixed up @.@ clumsy me I will, though, try to tag the posts with the proper places (Paris, Milan, New York, etc.) FORGIVE MEHH!

Ayt, moving on... Next is: Dolce & Gabbana. Okay so I don't usually like Dolce & Gabbana but this season's is sooo worth writing about!! I mean, hello?! WHITE!!! White Italian lace!! OMG I could die. Sheer dresses and micro minis are also a huge in this collection. Dolce & Gabbana doesn't usually showcase pale colors and whites; black and more vibrant tones are usually their thing. But this is like a really refreshing start!

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the preview of the show in youtube :( Sooo, you'll have to make do with the full show. Don't worry, it's only 10 minutes Soo, without the preview, its on with the favorites!! 10 pictures as usual ;) So here goes...

I LOVE THIS ONE!
HAHA! AND THIS ONE TOO♥
MOAR?

{Fashion Week SS'11 Favorites: Tommy Hilfiger}

TOMMY HILFIGER is next :D Okay, so I don't usually rave over his collections and designs because they're usually just plain american clothes, but this season's collection is just AMAZING!! Can I say it one more time? AMAZING!!! I read somewhere that they're celebrating it's 25-year heritage, delivering an exaggerated, beyond-preppy rocker-meets-country-club vision for the season ahead. Pleated tennis skirts, super-short high waists, pop-colored blazers, fisherman hats, and brights dominated this show. Okay, HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE THAT?! I mean, HELLO, it's a whole lotta awesome packed in one show!!

They still stuck to the roots of classic Tommy Hilfiger, just with a modern twist and bright colors. Just how I like it ;) OH OH!! You HAVE to see the runway setting! They put on these, like, fake grass which is so cute for some reason :/ So yeah, moving on... Here's a preview from FTV in youtube:

Now, on to the pleats and polos:
LOVE the red!

{Fashion Week SS'11 Favorites: BCBGMAXAZRIA}

MEHH -___- sorry. Didn't post yesterday as you might notice. But this time I have a good excuse!! I came home late and was really tired... So, yeah. Here's another post! BCBGMAXAZRIA!!
The whole Spring/Summer collection just screams GODDESS! Light and airy dresses, whites and sand, nude makeup, clean, pulled-back hair--absolutely beautiful!! The married duo, Max and Lubov Azria, just never fails to create a collection anyone will favor.

"The collection was abundant in dresses, but it allowed the Azria's to fully explore their chosen theme. Diaphanous shifts grazed the body and sometimes featured asymmetrical draped tiers, overlays or hints of sheer gauze peeking from beneath a hemline." -Vogue UK

It's just a dream seeing the collection. You really get that serene feel from the spring frocks.

Here is a preview of the collection from MBFWNewYork in Youtube:

Pictures, pictures, pictures!!
MY FAVORITE♥
